Line Dancing events in the michiana area
Looking for some fun line dancing events to add to your calendar? Throughout the year, we teach at regional conferences, weekend workshops, and host special events of our own. Below is a list of line dancing special events currently on our agenda, but check back often. The calendar is always evolving. Open Line Dancing Every Monday Night
Monday nights at the BK Club, 721 S West St, Mishawaka, IN
Join us for a night of music and line dancing at the BK Club with Chris Highbaugh serving as our DJ. We dance to our favorite tunes, take requests throughout the evening, and also do a quick teach or two on most nights. There is a bar downstairs where you can grab your favorite drink, and tables and chairs to sit and visit with friends.
Time: 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm, $6.00 per person
June Events
Relay For Life Teach
June 14, 2025, 12 – 1 PM, Relay For Life at the St Joe Fairgrounds.
We will be leading three easy line dance teaches for the participants at the Relay For Life.
We need some helpers to mix in with the crowd and help us teach the participants these three dances!
Billy Goat 9 & Dine
Beginning June 19, 2025
6 – 7:30 pm
We will be leading line dance teaches and open dance every other Thursday at the Billy Goat 9 & Dine. Join us for the fun!
Admission to this event is free. We will be dancing in the beautiful outdoor pavilion on a cement pad, so plan accordingly.

August Events
Indiana State Fair Demo
August 3, 2025, 11 AM – 12 PM, IN State Fair Demo, Indianapolis.
We will be doing a line dance demonstration/exhibition in Indianapolis at the IN State Fair Grounds and would love for some of our Michiana Country Kickers to join us.
Participation in this event will involve a road trip! We need a head count so that we can get parking passes and admissions for all participants. We also hope to arrange some carpooling and drive down as a group.

Motor City Dance Classic

This conference boasts an awesome line up of instructors this year. John Robinson, Rona Kaye, Jill Babinec, Jamie Marshall, Lynne Martino, Tina Foster, Debi Pancoast, Rob Holley, Kerry Maus, Jill Weiss, & Derek Steele, Trevor Thornton, Kelly Cavallaro and Chris Jacques.
Three Workshop Rooms Hourly with a dedicated Beginner Room. Two Evening Dance Rooms – Anything Goes Main Ball Room & All Request Beginner/Improver Room.
November Events
World Dance Showdown
November 13 – 16, 2025 at the Indianapolis Marriott East Hotel and Convention Center, Indianapolis, IN
This event offers a VIP lineup of celebrity instructors workshops for line dancers, couples, fixed pattern partner dancers, choreographers and dance instructors (NTA).
Including Beginner/Improver, Intermediate and Advanced dances, plus workshops for dance technique, styling and dance pattern variations.
