Line Dancing events in the michiana area
Looking for some fun line dancing events to add to your calendar? Throughout the year, we teach at regional conferences, weekend workshops, and host special events of our own. Below is a list of line dancing special events currently on our agenda, but check back often. The calendar is always evolving. Open Line Dancing Every Monday Night
Monday nights at the BK Club, 721 S West St, Mishawaka, IN
Join us for a night of music and line dancing at the BK Club with Chris Highbaugh serving as our DJ. We dance to our favorite tunes, take requests throughout the evening, and also do a quick teach or two on most nights. There is a bar downstairs where you can grab your favorite drink, and tables and chairs to sit and visit with friends.
Time: 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm, $6.00 per person

The Kickin' It Dance Convention
The Kickin’ It Dance Convention takes place April 24- 26, in Schaumburg, Illinois, and is always a good time of learning and fun for line dancers.

Line Dance Workshop and open dance at the Legion - May 2
WORKSHOP:
We will be hosting a workshop at the American Legion Post 210, 103 York Dr Middlebury, IN on May 2, from 3 – 5 pm in conjunction with our open dance night.
We will be teaching High Improver level dances at lessons that day. Lessons are open to the public and all ages are welcome if they are interested in learning dances with us.
Admission will be $6.00 for the workshop only, or if you’d like to stay for the night of open dancing at the Legion as well, you get a discount of $10 for both events. (Normal pricing would be $6 each or $12 total.)
DINNER:
The Legion serves dinner from 5 – 7 pm for a reasonable fee, and the public is invited so you are welcome to join them for the meal.
OPEN DANCE:
From 7 – 11 pm the Legion will be open for an open line dance event.
The format for the evening will include some teaching and a lot of open dancing, with DJ Chris Highbaugh taking requests. This venue has over 2500 square feet of dance floor space as well as a large seating area, a full bar/Lounge area with big screen TV, and darts for those that don’t want to dance or need a break between songs.
The event is open to the public and all ages are welcome, so feel free to invite your friends. However, please note, there is a 10 pm curfew for dancers under 18 years.
We’ll be collecting admission ($6 per person).

No outside food or drinks please. There is parking both in front of and behind the Legion.
